Dear Friends,
We know that everyone is almost on their knees waiting for the start of the IBCC International Balaton Carp Cup, as well as the opening ceremony and the draw that preceded it. However, there are still two days until the imaginary starting pistol that marks the start of the race is rolled out, and these -2nd and -1st days are the best time to greet each other as old friends and spend some time together, amidst delicious food, drinks and, of course, a little trade. In this case, it doesn’t matter who came from where, from which distant corner of the globe, even with hand and foot, but anglers speak one language.
In previous years, the Hethland team has always been the first to stand there as a supporter of the fishing community, either as a venue or as a host and restaurant base, as among us there are experienced anglers who have participated in many competitionsand and who are happy to recall in their memories the unforgettable, cheerful evenings spent with fish-catching mates.
And how would we make your days in Zamárdi even more pleasant? Here’s what we had in our mind foretaste:
– accommodation, delicious Hungarian dishes in the restaurant
– beer/wine/brandy tasting
– pig frying/grilling, bacon frying
– cooking goulash, fish soup or stew
– baking in the garden furnace
– preliminary fishing terrain survey, warm-up
– or whatever you want…
Those who do not have a reservation before the competition can also come, but also those who want to tune in to the challenges ahead in a good mood already on the day of registration and the draw (April 20 and 21, 2023).
You can’t say no to a jamboree! Book accommodation for the entire duration or if you already have a reservation, spend the days before and after the tournament with us.
